Commissioner Bob Krasne (Steinman Communications) along with PNC Bank’s Jim Hoehn, say economic growth in Pennsylvania is impacted by the lack of high-quality child care.
“Data shows that 67 percent of children under the age of 5 have all available parents in the workforce, making child care a necessity for many of Pennsylvania’s working families. Depending on the quality of that child care, it can also be a critical early learning opportunity for children. For Pennsylvania’s economy to thrive today and in the future, we need to make sure the care is high quality and incorporates appropriate early learning fundamentals”.
